Appointments provide time to review your treatment, discuss concerns, and address changes in your health, circumstances, or goals.

Care is provided directly by Dr. Elias. Seeing the same physician over time allows earlier treatment decisions, responses, and concerns to inform what happens next.

Privacy is considered in how the practice is structured. Care is provided directly by Dr. Elias, and AVEN Medicine is a private-pay practice, limiting unnecessary involvement of outside parties in treatment and billing.

Medical information is handled confidentially. The practice’s privacy notice explains the protections that apply to your records and communications.

Established patients may contact Dr. Elias between scheduled visits for brief questions or updates. When a concern requires more than a brief exchange, an appointment may be recommended.

Follow-up is tailored to where you are in treatment. Some periods benefit from more frequent follow-up, particularly when treatment is beginning, changing, or not going as expected. As treatment becomes more established, the interval between visits may change.

Care is provided primarily by telehealth and is available in states where Dr. Elias is licensed. Limited in-person appointments may be arranged by special request in Chevy Chase, Maryland.
